First Halloween!

Here are some pictures of my first Halloween! Here I am with mommy before we went out.

I was dressed as a baby duck. And get this, we walked up and down the street and people gave me candy!

Doesn't my mommy look pretty? We make quite the team!

QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!

I have my bag and I am ready to go!

Here I am with daddy at our neighbor's house getting my loot.

That is my daddy's crazy new friend Joe.

But oh man, I was up passed my bed time and I was beat. Time to take off this duck suit and hit teh sack. There is a video coming soon, so stay tuned...

Goodbye Grandmommy

My grandmommy came to take care of me when I was only two-months old, and she has been with me ever since. Here is how small I was when she first arrived….

Here we are the first few days she was in Malaysia.

I have gone through so many changes during this time. Here is our trip to Redang exactly one year ago today.

Well last night, my grandmommy left. I already miss her so much. She has taught me so many things. We spent so much time together learning how to share, be patient, eat snack, clean our messes, read books, march, dance, the list is really endless.

I just want to say thank you so much grandmommy for taking all this time to help me become such an amazing little girl. I am not sure when I will see you again, but I can’t wait till you see me. I have changed so much this past year and I am sure I will change the coming years as well, but I will remember all the lessons we learned spending everyday together. I love you so much and I will miss you everyday,

I hope you are safe and sound.

Fleeting Nature of Youth

Hey everybody. This has been a good week. Our yard is getting greener and greener thanks to my daddy's hard work and playing outside is a lot more fun, especially since it is no longer 12o degrees. We spend at least an hour every afternoon playing on my toys and watering all the trees and plants.

Sometimes my daddy pretends to be a puppy and I can't control myself when he barks and tickles me...

But as you know, I get very serious when I am being photographed, so here is another serious shot. Notice the tress in the background!

I have started to count. I know what you are thinking that I am still way too young to be counting, but I am starting. Before doing anything I put my hand up and say EHHHH, OOHHHH, DAHHHHH. That by the way means 1, 2, 3! See here I am doing it.

And finally here is me contemplating the fleeting nature of youth as I stare at the falling leaves.

Computer Madness

I love the computer. I guess I take after my daddy. As soon as the door to the computer room is open, I run up and get on the chair and start pounding the keyboard and playing with the mouse. Yes I know how to move it around and click its keys. So tonight, right before my bath, I escaped my dad's grip and made it into the room. Up on the chair and here I am:

And there I am on the screen:

Wow! This is a bit postmodern...I love it! I will blogging myself in no time.

Living Room Playtime

Not much to say this week. Taking pictures is still tough for my dad, because I am obsessed with seeing my picture in the back of the camera. I call myself baby, and so I chase him around as he tries to take pictures screaming baby, baby, baby...Here are a few shots he was able to snap as he ran away from me...

This is what it looks like when I get fed up and demand to see the pictures he is taking!

Magazine Counter

There are two things I love to do these days. 1.) I love to move my foot stool all over the kitchen. 2.) I love to look at magazines! So I was pretty excited to stand up at the counter flipping through a mag as my daddy snapped some shots after we had lunch.

As you can see , I was all business and couldn't be bothered to smile on command.

I mean look at all these cool pictures of babies and animals; my two favorite things to look at.

Sorry daddy, I am just not feeling it today. This is the best I can do.

How's this?

Mmmmmm...

This is the closest I can get to a smile today. Take it or leave it. I will see you all next time.

A Night In The Park

The other night, as the sun was setting and the weather was cooling off, we went to a nice little park my mommy has found.

We took my friend Owen. My daddy gives me a hard time and says that Owen is my boyfriend, but we are just friends. He comes over and we play and dance sometimes, but that is all…

Here we are in a boat near Khalifa Stadium. The tower in the background was built for the Asian Games, but it is still not done (Like everything else in Doha). When done it is meant to have restaurants, shopping, and even a pool.

We had a good time at this park. I like playing with Owen. Although he is a bit older, we have a good time.

Finally, here is one that you can use as your screen saver or print up. My daddy may joke about Owen now, but he better watch out if I still look like this when I am older...
