Summer in Singapore

The pictures of our summer so far are pretty self-explanatory. It is hot and sunny and we are sweaty and having fun. Singapore so far has been great, and we haven;t even moved into our own place yet. We are getting settled and having a good time doing it.

Here we are at he zoo!

They have a great water play area, perfect for cooling off, after a long day of walking around.

Making my own zoo early in the morning. I explained to daddy that the lion won't eat the other animals because they are all friends before they came to the zoo.

After swimming, we were all pretty beat, so it was time to take a tech break and lounge out on the couch.

Another Swimmer is Born

Look everyone! No hands! Looks like we have another water baby in our midst. Skye took her own time getting comfortable in the water, but the last few days she has really taken off. She no longer needs to grip our necks so tightly and is very comfortable in and under the water.  She jumps in on her own and swims back to the wall in the deep end.

 

She loves dunking under near the wall and simply floating around for a bit before crawling out and jumping back in.

 All in all, we are gaining confidence and having a great time in the pool.

 

Gotta hand it to mommy on this one though, it was through her patience and support that Skye took off. Great job Swim Coach. 

We will all be Scuba Diving as a family before you know it.

First Few Days in Singapore

But the best has been the pool so far.

Back From The Sing Sing

Been a busy week! Started way back last Thursday, when we had Student-Led-Conferences.

Then my daddy and I played around in the band room. I had a blast pounding the drum set. I might need one of my own soon.

Here is Skye demanding that she peel her own orange. "I do it myself!" is her new mantra.

Finally we were off to Singapore to see some old friends.

As you can see I loved it and cannot wait to move there!
