Goodnight Moon Model

I think we all know that is was only a matter of time before I learned how to pose in front of the camera. Maybe it was the hours of America's Next Top Model my mommy watched when I was in her tummy, or the fact that photography and modeling run in my family, or maybe because I am just so damn cute and love to be in front of a camera, Whatever it is, I have figured out two things:
  1. If I don't charge the camera, my daddy will snap away and get some great shots.
  2. I can look at the pictures later on the back of the camera and on the computer. This is something I love to do. I crawl up on the chair, sit at the computer, point and say "baby."
But enough talk, let's look at some pictures. The other night I had just taken a shower, brushed my teeth, and was getting ready for bed, when daddy said, "Kaia come in the hall and let's have a shoot. (That is industry lingo for taking pictures.) We wanted to work the serious stuff in first. So here I am looking a mysterious...

Do something coy and demure. I wasn't sure what any of that meant, so I just did this. He seemed to eat it up. Flash, Flash, Flash. Man! I love this business.

Then I decided to sit and down for a while and see how that felt. I did this on my own; he never asked me to sit, but I wanted to give him something more to work with.

How's this daddy? Great he said!

Smile, smile, get a bit loose...

This is when I decided to give it my all and let loose completely. I started giggling and laughing and having a great time...

Then we wanted to take some tender shots with my baby doll, whom I love very much and take with me everywhere...

Shhhh, Shhhh gently baby. It's nigh night time...

And with that, it was time for me to hit the sack as well. We went in my room and my mommy read me my favorite book:

As you can see, I really love sitting in my mommy's lap and reading a long. I sit quietly and point to all the great pictures.
It really is a great story. I love the last page where everything is dark and hush....
Goodnight everyone...

  1. I used to read goodnight moon to your mother. I will have to go see if I still have any of her childhood books.
