This, This, That

My daddy is reading a book called The Last Child In The Woods, so he is very sensitive about the amount of time I am spending outside. And even though we live in the desert, he was telling me today that it is important to spend lots of time outside.

So we grabbed our cameras and went out in the field in front of our house to see what we could see, hear, smell, and touch. We took photos of it all and you can see his pictures here, as well as a few he took of me below:

My daddy was trying to teach me that sometimes if we look closely at things, even if they are discarded and ugly, they can be beautiful, if we look at them right. Watch my first ever photo essay. I took all the pictures myself and I was very excited to talk about them.

  1. Kaia,

    You took such beautiful pictures!

Sometimes my mummy lets me use the digital camera around the house. That's one of my favorite pastimes!

Hey everyone! This is Kaia's dad. Thanks for your great comments. Just so you know Kaia is only 3 and can't read all of these comments, but I can read them to her.

If you have any questions for her, maybe I can ask her and she can tell me the answers and I can type them in.

Or maybe you can ask your teacher to help you leave some video comments that Kaia can watch and respond to.

Glad you guys liked her photos. She was very excited to take them.
