The day started off promising as we set off to see some whales in Monterey! I had my binoculars and I was ready and full of energy and enthusiasm.

Here we are on the boat and ready to go!

I had to wear a life jacket which was okay but a bit awkward.

After a long boring ride, suddenly out of the depths there they were...

Whales! I was interested into them for a while, but after an hour ride, sea sickness, and general toddler fussiness, I kind of freaked out and demanded to go inside. (You can see a few more pics on my daddy's flickr page
here.)

Then I turned a bit yellow, and passed out for the ride home. All-in-all a bit too much for me, but fun nonetheless.
