Praying Mantis

Now that my dad's garden is starting to turn green, we spend a lot of time out there watering and taking care of the plants. I am learning how to be gentle and not tear the leaves and flowers off of every plant. My daddy gets frustrated sometimes, but I am getting much better, as you can see here...

We have a Praying Mantis living in our yard which we both think is pretty cool, seeing that we live in a desert. My daddy likes to show me all the things that live in our garden. Here I am "gently" touching our garden guest...
But later, I let our friend simply be. He likes it there on our Bougainvillea bush.
